Director of External Communications

Prologis is a global leader in logistics real estate, with a presence in 19 countries and a portfolio of approximately 72 million square meters of high-quality properties. We are seeking a talented and strategic communications professional to join our team as Director, EU External Communications.
About the RoleWe are looking for a seasoned communications expert who can craft and execute a compelling narrative for Prologis in Europe. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with senior leaders, regional teams, and external stakeholders. They will be responsible for developing and implementing communications strategies that drive business objectives and enhance the company's reputation.
Key Responsibilities- Articulate the Prologis Europe story and communicate it strategically to key audiences
- Build and nurture relationships with senior leaders, regional teams, and external stakeholders
- Develop and implement communications strategies that drive business objectives and enhance the company's reputation
- Lead the development of PR materials, including press releases, blogs, and company fact sheets
- Manage partnerships with Prologis PR agency partners in Europe
- Work with the Global Communications team to track, monitor, and measure media coverage
- Prepare approved company spokespeople for media interviews and other engagements
- Identify external opportunities to showcase Prologis thought leadership
- Effectively respond to reputational challenges in Europe
- 7+ years of relevant experience in media/PR, with a focus in real estate, commercial development, public affairs, community affairs, or finance
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with top-tier business media
- Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines consistently
- Excellent writing, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience working in or managing a PR agency
- Previous crisis communications experience
