Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Host Intern. As a Host Intern, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with exceptional service and ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their queries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Offer recommendations and information on local attractions, restaurants, and events, helping guests to make the most of their stay in Amsterdam.
  • Work closely with the front desk team to ensure the hotel's reception area is always clean and tidy, and that guests have a positive first impression of our hotel.
  • Participate in the hotel's breakfast service, ensuring that guests have a delicious and enjoyable start to their day.
  • Contribute to the hotel's overall success by providing excellent customer service, working collaboratively with colleagues, and being flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
  • Easy-going and friendly attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, with a good command of other languages an advantage.
  • Relevant MBO (Vocational study) training level 1-4 or HBO (Bachelor) degree.
