About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Coordinator to join our team at Damen Shipyards. As a Material Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the logistical process of our shipbuilding operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Control, correct and complete technical drawings;
  • Monitor and manage logistical material planning for construction sites;
  • Collect and analyze technical information for shipbuilding yards;
  • Respond to inquiries from construction sites, project managers, central engineering, procurement, central warehouse, etc. regarding various matters (unclearities, progress, expected delivery date, unexpected events, etc.).
Requirements
  • MBO education in Mechanical Engineering or Shipbuilding;
  • Some knowledge of IFS and Excel is an asset;
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a production environment;
  • Experience with technical preparation, planning and logistics;
  • Fluent English and Dutch, both spoken and written;
  • You are an enthusiastic team player with an eye for detail and a knack for prioritizing tasks.
