Position Overview:

The Scientist I, Research role is pivotal in driving analytical development initiatives within our organization. The selected candidate will:

  • Act as a representative for the Analytical Development (AD) team in various projects, influencing timelines, execution, and strategic direction of AD-related tasks.
  • Oversee and execute sample testing activities, ensuring adherence to established timelines.
  • Engage collaboratively within the Research and Development (R&D) matrix, working alongside multiple departments to achieve common goals.
  • Conduct method assessments and establish methodologies in partnership with senior scientists.
  • Formulate scientific strategies aimed at characterizing product quality, safety, and efficacy.
  • Deliver presentations with recommendations that facilitate informed decision-making, ensuring the production of high-quality products.
  • Serve as a liaison among internal scientific, analytical, and laboratory functional areas.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines and regulations in all duties performed.
  • Collaborate with peers to conduct laboratory activities related to development, validation, and transfer processes.
Qualifications:
  • Possess equivalent experience in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related physical science; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector, ideally in development roles.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in various analytical techniques, including (U)HPLC.
  • Exhibit a strong passion for scientific methodology and problem-solving.
  • Possess knowledge of analytical method development and validation.
  • Show capability to lead and contribute to projects of medium complexity.
  • Display strong skills in goal-setting, prioritization, and time management.
  • Be comfortable working in a team environment and embracing challenges in product development.
