About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Sustainable Finance team as a Vice President. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and development of our sustainable finance business.

Responsibilities
  • Lead deal teams on origination and execution of sustainable deals, working closely with other deal team members and external stakeholders to bring transactions to a successful close.
  • Develop and implement sector and country strategies, identifying new opportunities and enhancing existing relationships with clients, experts, and industry bodies.
  • Create and manage relationships with clients, experts, and industry bodies, enhancing ING's sustainable business initiatives and promoting our expertise in the market.
  • Enhance internal and external profiling, showcasing ING's sustainable business initiatives and thought leadership through panels, webcasts, and other channels.
  • Continuously innovate and develop new sustainable finance products and structures, addressing real-world issues and identifying new growth markets.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6-10 years of experience in originating and executing transactions, or in ESG advisory with active client-facing front-office experience.
  • Experience with sustainability-related transactions is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and creative skills, with the ability to drive business growth and mobilize the organization in a collaborative spirit.
  • Master's degree in Business, Finance, or a relevant discipline, with additional sustainability-related academic background a plus.
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
