About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our Data & Analytics Platform team at ABN Amro. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing critical functionality for our DIAL platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, reliable, and secure Python applications using the Django framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure.
  • Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure efficient and automated deployment of code changes.
  • Maintain high-quality code through best practices, code reviews, and testing.
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies and contribute to the development of technical solutions.
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure high availability and scalability of our applications.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Python Developer with a focus on Python and Django framework.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience in setting up and maintaining pipelines.
  • Demonstrable experience in maintaining code quality through best practices and code reviews.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design efficient solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
  • Experience in working with Cloud Technologies preferably Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience in working with applications with high availability requirements.
  • Experience of Agile way of working.
  • Experience working in DevOps teams.
What We Offer
  • A competitive gross monthly salary based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
  • A benefit budget of 11% of your salary, allowing you to acquire additional employment benefits.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year, with the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
  • A personal development budget of €1,000 per year, which can be accumulated up to €3,000.
