Senior Project Manager to Finance Business Support

About the Role

Vattenfall is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead and drive strategic development projects within Finance Business Support (FBS) and collaborate with other parts of Finance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complex projects within the Finance field, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Support team members in their projects, providing guidance and expertise when needed.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and follow-up with the FBS Management Team, driving business growth and improvement.
  • Develop and implement the current and future service delivery model, including business process outsourcing (BPO) providers.
  • Identify trends and development ideas within Finance, driving innovation and process development with team members and the FBS Management Team.
  • Lead change management and communication activities within FBS and with external stakeholders, ensuring seamless project execution.
Requirements
  • University degree in business administration or a relevant field, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Finance processes.
  • Proven project management skills, including experience with project steering models and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership qualities, analytical problem-solving ability, and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to build trust with stakeholders within and outside FBS, driving collaboration and results.
Personal Qualities
  • Proven track record of driving improvement initiatives, such as process optimization and automation, in a Shared Services or Finance department.
  • Experience working with management consultants or similar roles, driving change and innovation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
