Group Controller
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Group Controller to oversee our financial operations and contribute to the strategic direction of our organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance and excellence in our financial reporting and accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key advisor in establishing financial policies and best practices to ensure effective execution of finance and accounting functions.
- Facilitate accurate reporting to stakeholders and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
- Lead the audit process, maintaining strong relationships with external auditors and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
- Oversee the preparation of multi-GAAP statutory financial statements in collaboration with local accounting professionals.
- Direct the tax strategy and compliance efforts, managing relationships with local tax advisors on various tax matters.
- Act as the primary contact for general ledger accountants on complex accounting and tax issues.
- Engage actively in various finance and accounting projects as needed.
- Mentor and guide junior team members to foster professional growth.
Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Finance or a related field, with CPA or equivalent qualifications preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in audit or controlling, ideally within an international accounting environment.
- Strong knowledge of US-GAAP and related accounting standards.
- Familiarity with tax regulations, including transfer pricing considerations.
- Exceptional analytical and logical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Excel and experience with Oracle is advantageous.
- Full professional proficiency in English is required.
