Background InformationOur innovative machine stack includes state-of-the-art lithography systems and cutting-edge metrology systems. In semiconductor manufacturing, overlay is a critical parameter that affects the fabrication yield and profit margin. In this project, you'll work with experts in machine learning, optics, and signal processing to design and develop next-generation geometric deep learning algorithms for improving the performance of our tools and solutions.
Your AssignmentSpecific tasks will include designing and validating custom-made machine learning architectures on both simulated and measurement data of structures imaged using ASML's machines. You'll also perform a detailed comparison of the current state-of-the-art with the techniques developed in the project.
Your Profile- You're a master's student in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Mathematics, and/or Physics.
- You're skilled in Signal Processing, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, and JAX.
- You have an interest in or experience with Graph Neural Networks and physics-informed machine learning.
- You're independent, highly motivated, and possess good technical communication and presentation skills.
- You have great communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
As an intern at ASML, you'll gain valuable experience in a highly innovative environment, working alongside experts in the field. You'll receive practical guidance, the chance to work in a dynamic team environment, and a monthly internship allowance of up to €600. If the project is successful, the scope could be extended to a thesis project.
