Hotel Security Officer/Beveiliger

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Security Officer/Beveiliger to join our team at Kimpton de Witt. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring and Procedures: Utilize 70 surveillance cameras to monitor safety and address issues such as lost property, fire, theft, burglary, accident prevention, key management, and enforcing house rules.
  • Expertise: Implement Safety & Security procedures, provide advice on security risks, and take decisive action during evacuations or emergencies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with different departments, offering and receiving support as needed. Collaborate with a team of 5 security guards during different shifts.
  • Crisis Management: Maintain composure in stressful situations, take the lead during emergencies, problems, and breakdowns. Coordinate and report events promptly.

Requirements:
  • 1 year of relevant experience as a Hotel security/Beveiliger and/or in possession of a MBO Beveiliger 2 diploma
  • Available for 3 or 5 days a week
  • Flexible to work on morning/evening/night shifts also during weekdays, weekends, and on public holidays
  • Having a service-minded attitude
  • Proof of good behaviour (VOG)
  • Fluent in Dutch; preferably, also proficient in English
