We are seeking a Sourcing Specialist to facilitate value-driven procurement decisions.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be integrated within the E-Mobility Business Unit, operating from various locations. We provide flexible part-time remote work options, with regular travel as part of the position.
As a pivotal member of Vattenfall E-Mobility, you will oversee the procurement of electricity for our owned and operated charging stations. Your responsibilities will include managing contracts with internal suppliers across different regions.
Your role will also encompass the management of renewable energy units, optimizing their commercial value through strategic charging of electric vehicles.
Collaboration with our forecasting and pricing analysts will be essential as we aim to enhance our procurement strategies to align with smart charging and dynamic pricing models.
QualificationsWe are looking for a Sourcing Specialist E-Mobility who is passionate about making a significant impact in the electric vehicle sector. A keen interest in sustainability and a willingness to learn are essential.
Your extensive experience, combined with strong analytical and commercial acumen, will enable you to develop effective strategies that address market challenges.
Essential Requirements- Master's degree in Engineering, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 2-8 years of relevant experience, adaptable to varying levels of seniority.
- Experience in portfolio management or trading within Nordic, Dutch, and German markets.
- Strong grasp of market fundamentals, particularly in spot and balancing markets.
- Proficient in English communication.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated negotiation capabilities.
- A collaborative mindset with independent problem-solving skills.
- Organized and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Ambitious and eager to deepen knowledge in the electric vehicle industry.
