Job Title: Assistant Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Controller to join our team at Serco, a leading Space Services Provider. As a key member of our financial management team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the preparation and review of financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in financial control activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Support the preparation and review of financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal procedures.
  • Monitor and track financial performance, identifying discrepancies and proposing corrective actions.
  • Provide support during audits and financial reviews, preparing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Collaborate with various teams to improve financial management processes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent with relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in financial control, accounting, or business management roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and controls.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, SAP).
