Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Account Manager to join our team. As a Global Account Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities within national and regional sales territories. You will work directly with IT decision-makers to understand their current and future connectivity needs and position Cogent's services as a solution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned sales territories
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at national and regional levels
  • Position Cogent's services as a solution to meet the needs of our customers
  • Meet or exceed monthly revenue goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a direct hunting, B2B sales role with a track record of quota achievement
  • Ability to identify, qualify, and generate new business through extensive prospecting and research
  • 4-8+ years of solid, B2B sales experience in a telecom arena with collocation and wholesale experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with revenue deadlines
