Wat ga jij doen als Manager Sustainability Assurance?

Als Manager Sustainability Assurance bij KPMG word je een sleutelfiguur in ons team dat zich bezighoudt met duurzaamheid en milieu. Je werkt samen met een divers team van topklanten en ESG-professionals aan projecten die gericht zijn op het waarborgen van de integriteit van milieugegevens en sociale aspecten van bedrijven. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het begeleiden van teams en het coördineren van projecten, terwijl je ook de rol van adviseur opneemt bij onze klanten.

Na een grondige opstartprocedure word je geïntegreerd in ons netwerk en word je actief betrokken bij de realisatie van de ambities van onze klanten wereldwijd. Naast het werken aan projecten, word je ook betrokken bij het ontwikkelen van thought leadership, het volgen van trainingen en het ontvangen van contentkennis en ervaring. Je bent ook verantwoordelijk voor het coachen en motiveren van teams en het bijdragen aan de groei van de organisatie.

Jouw uitdagingen
  • Je werkt samen met collega's uit verschillende afdelingen en landen aan projecten voor meerdere internationale klanten.
  • Je bent een spilfiguur tussen de klant, collega's en specialisten in verschillende domeinen zoals CO2-uitstoot, klimaatrisico's en mensenrechten.
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het dagelijkse operationele beheer van grotere duurzaamheid en milieu-projecten.
  • Je fungeert als de schakel tussen KPMG en de klant terwijl je ook contact onderhoudt met verschillende stakeholders.
  • Je leidt teams waarbij steeds meer AI-gesteunde tools worden toegepast in onze operationele taken.
  • Je bijdraagt aan en leidt business development en gesprekken met klanten over duurzaamheid en milieu.
Dit neem jij mee
  • Je hebt een sterke focus en mindset om een verschil te maken.
  • Een academische (WO) Master's graad in een relevante discipline.
  • Een minimum van 5 jaar werkervaring, vooral in het domein van assurance en/of ESG.
  • Een Postmaster Register Accountant training (of een equivalent zoals CPA) is een pluspunt, maar niet noodzakelijk.
  • Fluente kennis van het Engels (zowel schriftelijk als mondeling).
  • Fluente kennis van het Nederlands is een pluspunt, maar niet noodzakelijk.
  • De capaciteit om meer junior collega's te coachen.
  • Ervaring in het zelfstandig uitvoeren van (assurantie)opdrachten als teamleider en je hebt consultancyvaardigheden.
  • Commerciële en conceptuele denkbeelden.
  • De capaciteit om onder druk te werken.
