Role Overview
As the Application Governance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a robust and effective IT Service management framework. You will be responsible for overseeing the Identity and Access Management suite (IdentityNow) as well as the primary ITSM tool (Jira). Your duties will include configuring roles and permissions to grant employees system access based on necessity, facilitating automated role assignments, managing authorization requests, and conducting timely access reviews. Working closely with the IAM team, you will identify opportunities for enhancement and refine existing processes.
Moreover, you will manage Jira, the central ITSM tool, focusing on authorization design and project workflows.
The Team Structure
The IT Services team consists of 4 first-line support engineers, 4 second-line system administrators, 2 IT process managers, and 2 Application Governance Specialists. The team's goal is to provide an outstanding digital workspace and experience for colleagues, reporting to the IT Services Lead within the IT Functions and Foundation stream. At Knab, you will have the autonomy to pursue your initiatives and embrace responsibilities.
Organized around Value Streams, Knab operates with multiple agile teams and support departments, concentrating on Customer Propositions such as Daily Use, Financial Freedom, and Lending. This structure enables Knab to enhance focus and accelerate delivery timelines.
