We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead our Customer Facing Engineering team. As a key member of our Software Engineering Board, you will be responsible for defining the strategic direction of our Customer Facing software architecture and ensuring its successful implementation across our 20+ development teams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and communicate a clear vision for Customer Facing software architecture, aligned with Coolblue's business objectives.
- Initiate, organize, and supervise the implementation of strategic software engineering projects to achieve this vision.
- Explore new technologies, partnerships, and opportunities to enhance scalability, speed of delivery, and cost reduction.
- Advise and lead Principal Developers, Development teams, Product Owners, Domain Bosses, and other stakeholders on software architecture and engineering best practices.
- Challenge development roadmaps and guiding buy vs build decisions to ensure effective software development.
- Hire and allocate Principal Developers, challenge their architectural choices, and provide input for their yearly assessment.
- Master's Degree.
- Several years of experience in Enterprise architecture.
- More than 10 years of work experience in Customer Facing Agile Software Development.
- Technical expertise and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Autonomous drive and ownership, project management skills, and problem-solving skills.
