About Pax8

Pax8 is a leading provider of cloud-based solutions, and we're seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer at Pax8, you'll play a key role in architecting, developing, and automating our cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Support the availability of all developed and managed services
  • Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for Pax8 services, including disaster recovery and continuity
  • Manage and maintain security and access controls for supported services
  • Establish operational monitoring and performance metrics for managed and AWS resources
  • Mentor junior-level DevOps team members and Development Engineers

Requirements

  • Substantial experience supporting application development, preferably in microservices and Java-based web platforms
  • Experience with programming/scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, Java, Golang, or JavaScript
  • Experience implementing new projects using AWS services, such as EKS, MSK, ElastiCache, ElasticSearch, and RDS
  • Experience with networking principles and technologies using AWS technologies, such as ALB's, Security groups, VPC networking, and basic containerized networking principles
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker
  • Proficiency writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management using Terraform and Git

  • Annual gross salary ranging between €50,000 and €80,000, depending on level and experience
