Siemens Gamesa is a global leader in the wind industry, and we're seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for the technical scope of offshore wind farm projects during the sales phase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical sales project team from bid preparation to contract negotiation and signing.
  • Develop and define the best technical solutions in collaboration with clients, the sales team, and in-house experts.
  • Negotiate technical requirements and specifications of Turbine Supply Agreements.
  • Establish a solid planning of sales projects, including design, bid preparation, and technical due diligence.
  • Drive internal technical review of client tender material and final contracts, identifying technical risks and deviations.
  • Provide cost input for technical solutions to sales calculations, including SCADA and tower quotations, features, and options.
  • Report project status to the Sales Project Manager and ensure alignment across relevant organizational entities.

Requirements:

  • Passion for renewable energy and a sense of leadership.
  • Excellent practical and people management skills, strong communication skills, and ability to interface with numerous parties.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or similar) with a good business acumen.
  • Several years of experience in the Wind Turbine industry, preferably in R&D, project management, or sales.
  • Understanding of the offshore environment in relation to large construction projects.
  • Experience in contract negotiations, preferably for wind energy or large construction projects.
  • Holistic overview of projects, with attention to detail.
  • Outgoing and proactive, with ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Fluency in English, both orally and in writing.
