Your Responsibilities
You will be an integral part of the In-Person Payments (IPP) sector. In this area, we facilitate transaction processing for card-present environments. As English is the primary language for communication, we seek a candidate with exceptional written and verbal English skills based in our Amsterdam office.
As a Product Owner in the IPP sector, you will be expected to:
- Exhibit the following competencies:
- Possess knowledge of the IPP and/or online payments landscape, including relevant regulations;
- Integrate customer, market, industry, and business insights into product decisions;
- Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, each with unique skills and needs;
- Be a natural at building relationships;
- Lead initiatives across various teams;
2. Begin demonstrating these skills promptly:
- Quickly become the IPP customer expert within the domain;
- Be organized and proficient in roadmapping and backlog management;
- Understand business strategy, objectives, and context swiftly;
- Make timely decisions and gracefully assert 'No' when necessary within the context;
We Value You If You:
- Have relevant experience or a solid understanding of areas such as EMV, payment or cash register application development, payment APIs, and terminal hardware.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish and Dutch is advantageous;
- Demonstrate the skills necessary for success as a Product Owner, as outlined above.
- Are eligible to work in the Netherlands, as we do not support visa applications for candidates.
- Reside within a reasonable travel distance from our Amsterdam office.
