Job Description

The Eindhoven University of Technology is seeking talented PhD candidates to join our research team in the field of hydrogen fuel cell technology. Our research focuses on the application of hydrogen in internal combustion engines and the development of computational models for the numerical simulation of hydrogen combustion processes.

Research Focus

Our research team is working on two main projects:

  • PhD1: Design and testing of a pre-chamber technology for ultra-lean operation in hydrogen internal combustion engines.
  • PhD2: Development of computational models for the numerical simulation of hydrogen combustion processes and the prediction of NOx emissions.
Job Requirements

We are looking for talented PhD candidates with an M.Sc. degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related field, with a background and/or interest in thermofluids engineering and combustion applications. The candidate should have a good command of the English language and be a team player who will work together with colleague researchers.
