We are looking for a skilled Cloud Platform Specialist to join our Platform Horizontal team in Amsterdam, Paris or Lisbon. Our vibrant offices are designed to inspire and connect, and most Catawikians are within commuting distance of one of our offices.

What You Will Do

Your work as a Cloud Platform Specialist will shape how Catawiki teams deliver value to customers, fostering speed, reliability, and security in everything they build.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining self-service platforms that abstract complexity, empowering teams with the tools they need to seamlessly deploy, monitor, and optimize their applications.

Additionally, you will orchestrate cloud-native infrastructure, manage Kubernetes clusters and other cloud resources, ensuring performance, scalability, and cost efficiency with FinOps.

Boost developer productivity by building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and reusable templates to accelerate development and deployment cycles.

Drive reliability and scalability by implementing best practices for fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and scaling, ensuring that applications run smoothly and efficiently under all conditions.

Monitor and improve platform operations by using and enhancing observability stacks to ensure platform health and resolve incidents proactively.

Collaborate and innovate with product teams to understand their needs and build solutions that empower them, while evangelising cloud-native best practices within Catawiki.

Your Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Proficiency in Kubernetes, cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure), and container orchestration with a minimum of 2 years of production experience.
  • Skills in automating workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Experience in using and maintaining observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry) to ensure platform reliability, performance, and insight-driven improvements.
  • A strong sense of ownership for platform performance, proactively addressing issues and striving for long-term scalability and resilience.
  • The ability to work effectively with developers and cross-functional teams to align goals and deliver impactful yet simple solutions.
  • The willingness to continuously evolve with new tools, technologies, and best practices.

The estimated salary for this role is around €90,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. Please note that benefits can vary by location, and for specific information regarding what's available in your country, please consult your recruiter.
