Role Overview

Catawiki Collectables is seeking a seasoned Senior Key Account Manager to spearhead our efforts in the Benelux region. This position will be based in Amsterdam and will involve close collaboration with the team lead and the sales team.

The Senior Key Account Manager is crucial in driving growth from our existing seller portfolio. In this senior role, you will manage key accounts while also leveraging your sales expertise to mentor other account managers, providing essential guidance to enhance their performance.

You will assist the team lead with leadership responsibilities, including organizing team meetings, tracking team performance, and directing the commercial initiatives of the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the team lead in leadership tasks, including preparing for team meetings and monitoring team performance.
  • Develop and implement training programs for sellers and team members to enhance their platform performance.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of seller needs and guide them in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Formulate medium and long-term strategic growth plans for assigned sellers, in alignment with Category Managers and Sales Directors.
  • Present regular updates on account performance to senior management and peers.
  • Collaborate with experts to foster seller growth and maintain strong relationships through various communication channels.
  • Lead commercial strategies within your territory in partnership with experts, ensuring impactful outcomes.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Educate sellers on enhancing customer experiences to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Identify new opportunities and translate them into commercial actions for sustained growth.

Qualifications
  • 5-10 years of experience in sales or account management.
  • Exceptional communication skills across all channels.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English.
  • Ability to nurture strategic relationships with top sellers and a deep understanding of their needs.
  • A strategic mindset focused on driving growth and excellence.
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure beneficial deals.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • A genuine passion for collectables, enhancing your understanding of seller perspectives.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the Benelux region.
  • Proficiency in Google tools and data analysis; experience with CRM systems is advantageous.
