Job Description:We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to join our research team at Erasmus MC. The successful candidate will work on a 4-year project to develop novel antimicrobials for bacterial airway infections.
Responsibilities:- Conduct research on novel antimicrobials for bacterial airway infections
- Collaborate with our research team to design and execute experiments
- Analyze data and draw conclusions
- Present research findings at conferences and in publications
- Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences, Biomolecular Life Sciences, Biology or related disciplines
- Strong intrinsic motivation for doing science
- Natural curiosity, creative thinking, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience in cell culture, bacterial flow cytometry, and analyzing large datasets
- Affinity with or interest in working in an interdisciplinary environment
- Temporary position for 4 years
- Gross monthly salary € 3017,- in the 1st year and increases to € 3824,- in the 4th year (scale OIO)
