Internship Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Master student in Mechanical Engineering to join our team at ASML. As an intern, you will be responsible for investigating and testing various mechanical clamping solutions for optical fibers.

About the Assignment

Your assignment will focus on the theoretical analysis and experimentation of the impact of different V-groove designs, materials, dimensions, and fibers on optical performance. You will also be responsible for analyzing and testing the impact of different clamping forces, force vectors, and friction on optical performance.

Requirements

  • Master student in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with opto-mechanical designs
  • Interest in laser and fiber technology
  • Solution-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive individual
  • Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
