Job Overview

Fugro Fleet Services is seeking a skilled Project Financial Controller to join our team in a dynamic and challenging role. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial control and management of our projects, providing accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively initiate and maintain project budgets, challenging assumptions and monitoring actual versus budget performance.
  • Identify, manage, and report risks, deadlines, and contractual obligations, monitoring progress and cash flows.
  • Deliver timely project results for monthly and quarterly reports, including project forecasts and early warnings on financial risks and results.
  • Collect, monitor, and analyze relevant financial and project data to identify improvements and trends.
  • Develop, implement, and enhance relevant procedures and processes to increase efficiency.
  • Control and monitor project processes and documents, including finance, tax, compliance, purchasing, subcontracts, audits, insurance, and project risks.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting requests from management, business control, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as Economics or Business Administration.
  • 3+ years of relevant project experience and affinity with a technical environment.
  • Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels and an excellent command of the English language.
  • Persistent and proactive in pursuing financial project information needed to control projects.
  • A team player with well-developed analytical skills.
