Job Overview

Fugro Fleet Services is seeking a skilled Project Financial Controller to join our team in a dynamic and challenging role. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial control and management of our projects, from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively initiate and maintain project budgets, challenging assumptions and monitoring actual versus budget performance.
  • Identify, manage, and report risks, deadlines, and contractual obligations, monitoring progress and cash flows.
  • Deliver timely project results for monthly and quarterly reports, including project forecasts and early warnings on financial risks and results.
  • Collect, monitor, and analyze financial and project data to identify improvements and trends.
  • Develop, implement, and enhance relevant procedures and processes to increase efficiency.
  • Control and monitor project processes and documents, including finance, tax, compliance, purchasing, subcontracts, audits, insurance, and project risks.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting requests from management, business control, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as Economics or Business Administration.
  • 3+ years of relevant project experience and affinity with a technical environment.
  • Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels and an excellent command of the English language.
  • Persistent and proactive in pursuing financial project information needed to control projects.
  • A team player with accurate and well-developed analytical skills.
