We're now looking for a skilled Strategic Risk Management Data Analytics Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Internal Audit department, you will play a critical role in shaping our risk management strategy and driving business growth through data analytics.
About the RoleThe Strategic Risk Management Data Analytics Lead will be responsible for:
- Driving the use of data analytics across the Internal Audit department and contributing to the continuous improvement of IAD activities
- Identifying opportunities to enhance the use of analytics in audit processes and programs
- Staying up-to-date with emerging trends in data analytics and assessing their suitability for adoption in Internal Audit
- Training and supporting users to effectively use analytics solutions for data analysis during Internal Audit assignments
- Performing holistic analysis of key process data and adding to the analytics catalog supporting data-driven audits
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant university degree in Analytics, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, IT or Computer Science
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a relevant role with a strong working knowledge and hands-on experience of data analytics
- A genuine interest in applying data analytics to improve business performance and add value to the business
- Experience with ETL and analytics tools (Azure Data Factory, Databricks) and data visualization tools (Power BI)
- Understanding and exposure to programming languages (SQL, Python, PySpark)
- General understanding of business processes, corporate governance, audit principles and standards
