Compliance Expert for Quality Assurance

**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Compliance Expert to join our Quality Assurance team at Rituals. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of our products with relevant legislations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Report to the Sr. Compliance Specialist as part of the sourcing, quality and regulatory department;
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to manage compliance documentation and processes;
  • Act as a point of contact for suppliers regarding technical compliance documentation.

**Accountabilities:**

  • Stay up-to-date with relevant product legislation in collaboration with the Regulatory Affairs team;
  • Provide guidance to the sourcing and supply planning teams on compliance matters;
  • Participate in rework operations projects to ensure our products meet legislative requirements;
  • Act as a business ambassador protecting legislation and product safety requirements;
  • Support the Sr. Compliance specialist in their contact with local market surveillance authorities.

**Documentation Management:**

  • Review product artworks for legal safety information and labelling elements;
  • Maintain product information files proving compliance with European and local legislation.

**Requirements:**

  • A degree in chemistry, law, or equivalent knowledge, experience, and training;
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a Compliance or Regulatory Affairs role, preferably in cosmetics/FMCG;
  • Good understanding of EU and international legislation applying to our assortment;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; essential command of English language;
  • Strong project management and planning skills;
  • Ability to analyze root causes, find solutions, and simplify complex issues;
  • Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills.

**Salary Range:** Based on qualifications and location, the estimated salary for this position is €60,000 - €80,000 per annum.
