The Quality Department at Rituals is responsible for ensuring the performance of our assortment, product specifications, and that all products surpass predefined quality standards prior to market introduction. Additionally, the team ensures that all products comply with the legal legislation of their country of operation.
In this position, you will
- report to the Sr. Compliance Specialist as part of the Sourcing, Quality and Regulatory Department;
- work with cross-functional teams to manage compliance documentation and processes to ensure compliance with our assortment;
- act as a point of contact for local and international suppliers regarding technical compliance documentation (artworks, product information files, safety data sheets).
Professional Development
- stay up-to-date with relevant developments in product legislation in collaboration with the Regulatory Affairs team, exchange knowledge with others, and advise on product compliance topics;
- work with and provide direction to the Sourcing, Supply Planning, and Innovations team to drive compliance with relevant legislations and agreed ways of working;
- participate in rework operations projects as a product compliance representative and advisor, providing guidance to the cross-functional project team to ensure our assortment meets ever-changing legislative requirements;
- act as a business ambassador protecting legislation and product safety requirements;
- support the Sr. Compliance Specialist in contact with local market surveillance authorities.
Documentation
- verify product artworks for legal safety information and other labelling elements, ensuring our product packaging meets all applicable labelling requirements before market launch;
- request, review, and maintain product information files that prove our products are compliant with European and local legislation.
