Job Title: General Ledger Supervisor

At MGA Entertainment, we are seeking a highly skilled General Ledger Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the General Ledger financial data, ensuring its accuracy and compliance with standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing analysis on financial data to ensure its accuracy and completeness.
  • Responsibility for General Ledger financial data, including accruals, deferred costs, reclassifications, and intercompany/interdepartmental entries.
  • General Ledger Accounts reconciliation.
  • Performing monthly accounts analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct.
  • Gathering supporting documentation and performing recordkeeping.
  • Ensuring that financial information complies with standards.
  • Aligning General Ledger accounting practices to support budgeting.
  • Assisting with audit procedures.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 10 years of relevant experience in an accounting function.
  • Analytical and technical accounting skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and communications skills.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision in resolving generally understood and/or more complex issues.
  • Strong team player with high motivation and ability to work under pressure during peak periods.
