About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Team Lead to join our team at Picnic. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our promotional strategies to drive business growth and improve customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer behavior and preferences to inform promotional strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Manage the full promotion budget and oversee key performance indicators to enhance promotion-driven metrics
  • Lead a team of dedicated promo coordinators, fostering personal growth and development
  • Ensure the smooth execution of weekly discount offers, addressing operational challenges as they arise
  • Set the commercial strategy and create a practical plan to drive promotional improvements and achieve targets
About You
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, with a strong focus on analytical problem-solving
  • 4-7 years of experience in a commercial and analytical environment, such as retail, e-commerce, or FMCG
  • A commercial mindset, with a keen eye for opportunities and confidence in decision-making
  • Persistence and enthusiasm to see projects through to successful completion
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in people management, with the ability to lift spirits
  • A proactive approach to handling daily operations
  • A genuine passion for food, consumer products, and tech
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
