Customer Support Engineer

Energy Storage Solutions Technical Assistance MBO Level Required Over 2 Years of Experience Preferred

As a vital member of the Support team, you will play a key role in delivering technical assistance to our Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) clients across various regions. From our central monitoring facility, you will ensure optimal performance of the BESS and provide support to customers in both proactive and reactive manners.

Collaborating with your team, you will uphold the quality assurance processes necessary for verifying and documenting the performance metrics of our installations. Additionally, as a Customer Support Engineer, you will offer project-based follow-up care to system controllers.

In this position, you will be committed to adhering to company policies, safety standards, and ethical guidelines at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver technical assistance to our clients through various communication channels including email, support tickets, and phone. Investigate and document product-related issues encountered in the field. Manage communication between clients and the organization regarding all operational matters. Monitor all assets with a focus on preventive and proactive measures. Conduct remote troubleshooting and investigate alarms. Log all alarms in our ticketing system and keep clients updated on the operational status of their assets. Perform performance evaluations using our monitoring and data acquisition systems. Generate Work Orders for on-site interventions when necessary. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Manage case priorities to meet service level agreements (SLAs). Initiate software updates as required and keep clients informed. Operate independently with minimal oversight to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Participate in on-call evening and night shifts as part of our 24/7 support structure.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, ideally in Electrical, Electronics, or Energy disciplines. At least 2 years of hands-on experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing within one of the following sectors: Industrial Battery Systems, Energy, DC/AC Chargers, E-Mobility, or Automotive (specifically electrical/electronic systems). Proficient in interpreting Electrical Diagrams and Schematics. Fluent in English, both written and spoken (knowledge of additional Central European languages is a plus). Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Technical Support role.

Additional Considerations:

Familiarity with SCADA and/or PLC control systems is advantageous. Experience with cloud-connected embedded systems or programming/scripting languages (e.g., JSON, C++, Python, XML) is beneficial but not mandatory.
