Job Title: Senior Consultant Asset Management - Power Failure Investigations

DNV is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our team of Power Failure Investigators. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting and leading Power Failure Investigations on a component and system level, supporting our customers in the Energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and lead Power Failure Investigations on a component and system level
  • Support customers in the Energy sector
  • Perform site inspections, dismantle components, study relevant information, conduct interviews, and perform a thorough analysis
  • Deliver reports and presentations on the root cause of the problem
  • Lead a team towards a high-quality result
  • Incorporate testing or other methods to collect further evidence
  • Use structure methods and visualization methods to bring the message to customers and other involved parties
Requirements:
  • 8-10 years of experience with electricity grid components on medium and high-voltage levels
  • Deep understanding of failure mechanisms of grid components and the behavior of power system grids
  • Experience in performing asset failure root cause analysis and FMECA analyses, and risk assessments on power system and equipment fleet levels
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and preferably a Master of Science in respective engineering fields
  • Experience as a project manager and the ability to lead international projects
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Ability to travel internationally on a regular basis
