Senior Consultant Asset Management – Power Failure Investigations Expert

Job Summary
DNV is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our team of Power Failure Investigators. As a Senior Consultant, you will act as a trusted senior advisor to our customers, supporting them in conducting and leading Power Failure Investigations. This role involves site inspections, component dismantling, information analysis, interviews, thorough analysis, and report delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and lead Power Failure Investigations on a component and system level
- Support customers in identifying the root cause of power failures
- Develop and implement structured approaches to investigate power failures
- Collaborate with a team of experts to deliver high-quality results
- Support business development as a selling consultant
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience with electricity grid components on medium and high-voltage levels
- Deep understanding of failure mechanisms and power system grid behavior
- Experience in performing asset failure root cause analysis and FMECA analyses
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and Master's degree in respective fields
- Experience as a project manager and ability to lead international projects
- Excellent English communication skills
- Ability to travel internationally on a regular basis
