Are you looking for a challenging role in the high-tech industry? Mackin Talent is seeking an experienced Research and Development Specialist to join their team in Eindhoven.

This 12-month position comes with the potential for annual renewal, offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research and development projects.

The company specializes in innovating optical hardware for virtual, augmented, and mixed reality devices. As a key member of the Display and Optics organization, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on incubating and deploying disruptive technologies from research to product development.

About the Role
  • You will work in a high-quality production environment, setting up and managing 3D printing processes, including preparing substrates according to provided steps, initiating print tasks, and monitoring and controlling print operations.
  • Perform post-treatment processes on lenses to ensure optimal quality and measure lenses using precision tools, recording all data accurately and conducting visual quality checks to identify any flaws.
  • Proactively address and resolve issues that may arise during production shifts and maintain activity logs to ensure smooth operation of production lines.
  • You will also work in a cleanroom environment, ensuring all tasks meet the highest standards of cleanliness and quality control.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Previous experience working within a high-quality production environment.
  • Able to initiate and complete tasks independently.
  • Experience working in teams to achieve required results.
  • Effective communication skills.

Prior experience working on a 3D printer with precision tasks and measurement of products is preferred but not essential.
