Job Title: Global Technology Owner Fermentation

At DSM, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Technology Owner Fermentation to join our team. As a key member of our Global Technology group, you will be responsible for driving technology development and implementation across our fermentation operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead technology development for fermentation unit operations, focusing on cleaning effectiveness and hygienic design.
  • Responsible for technology scouting, including pilot assessments, to ensure DSM stays at the forefront of industry developments.
  • Ensure end-to-end leadership across Operations to evaluate business attractiveness and drive technology standardization.
  • Own and drive global technology standardization of unit operations and best practices, collaborating with R&D and Engineering teams.
  • Provide URS for new line installations and participate in Capex projects.
  • Fuel continuous improvement of processes and technologies in our plants, focusing on efficiency, yield, quality, safety, and sustainability.
  • Lead technology know-how management across the organization and maintain relevant communities of practice.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including technology scale-ups.
  • Proven experience in technology development, scale-up, and large-scale implementation.
  • Experience in quality-by-design, R&D processes, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
