Job Summary

The Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience is seeking a highly motivated and organized Research Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative and research support to our scientists and researchers, ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory and research projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to our scientists and researchers, including preparing and editing documents, managing schedules, and coordinating meetings.
  • Assist with research projects, including data collection, data analysis, and literature reviews.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases, including laboratory notebooks, research logs, and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the successful completion of research projects and laboratory operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as biology, chemistry, or neuroscience.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
