HR Operations Trainee

Job Description
Shimano is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee to join our HR Operations Team. As a Trainee, you will play a key role in supporting the team in their mission to deliver high-quality services to internal clients and stakeholders.
The Role
- Collaborate with HRIS Specialist to drive continuous improvement projects, such as migrating documents from diverse platforms to Workday.
- Support HR Admin Team with onboarding activities, including email communication, new hire sessions, and document maintenance.
- Maintain and manage relevant databases and reporting tools, aligned with your competencies and availability.
- Support extended HR team with side projects, such as communication, data validation, and quality checks.
- Provide guidance and answer basic navigational questions from employees and managers regarding company policies and processes.
- Support HR Admin with employee changes, including posting introductions and preparing slides for new employees.
Requirements
- A student within Business Studies (HR, Psychology) or related field.
- Enrolled in a university for the full duration of the internship.
- Willing to work 2-3 days in office.
- Interested in working in a digital environment, systems, and processes.
- Happy to work and help people.
- Capable of working in a structured and accurate way, with a strong team spirit.
- Excellent language skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Available for a minimum of 32 hours a week for 20 weeks (or more).
