Job Title: Information Desk Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Information Desk Clerk to join our team at the International Criminal Court. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to visitors, staff, and stakeholders, while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and assist visitors to the Court, providing information about the Court's proceedings, rules of decorum, and other relevant information.
  • Provide general support services to staff and visitors, including taxi and public transport information.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for general questions from staff members, including information on service offices and Courtroom access.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls to the Court, responding to queries and connecting calls to the right addressee.
  • Maintain the representative image of the public area of the Court.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Diploma of secondary education.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent customer orientation, hospitality, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment, dealing with staff and visitors with tact, diplomacy, and discretion.
  • Proficiency in one of the working languages of the Court (French or English) is required. Working knowledge of the other is highly desirable.
