Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Front Desk Employee to join our team at Staybridge Suites The Hague - Parliament. As a Front Desk Employee, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless stay experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments.
  • Upsell and promote hotel services and amenities to guests, ensuring maximum revenue and guest satisfaction.
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, escalating issues to management as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and food and beverage, to ensure seamless guest service.
  • Stay up-to-date on hotel policies, procedures, and services, and communicate this information to guests as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch required; additional languages a plus.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of hotel software systems, such as Opera, a plus.
