Senior Customs Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Customs Specialist to join our team at Lely. As a Senior Customs Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate completion of export documents for all export goods. You will also be responsible for coordinating import shipments, controlling, handling, and reporting on customs regulations and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the complete and timely submission of customs declarations and follow customs procedures and permits.
- Prepare all necessary customs documents for import and export.
- Monitor the timely receipt of required documents from LSPs/transporters and ensure accurate and correct follow-up.
- Conduct controls on the correct application of customs procedures and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Document and record all tasks and activities in accordance with agreed processes.
- Provide advisory services on incoming/outgoing goods flows at Lely.
- Investigative function: due diligence, export control, sanctions legislation.
- Administrative tasks related to AEO.
- Preparation of origin documents EUR1, CVO & ATR.
- Control and execution of declarations: e.g. CBAM.
- Signal and follow up on possible improvements, efficiency, and optimization of Transport & Trade Compliance activities and related matters.
- Gate Keeper function.
- Knowledge of export regulations and required documents.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English language in word and writing.
- MS Office skills.
- (Assistant)/Declarant diploma (STC/FENEX).
- Experience in transport and logistics.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar function.
