We offer a competitive salary that reflects the market standards for this position, taking into account the industry's average rates for similar roles in the Netherlands. Based on our analysis, we estimate the annual salary to be around €65,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.

Job Description

As an Operational Purchaser, your primary responsibility will be to purchase goods and services for Fugro while ensuring the best possible quality, delivery, and costing. You will work closely with the Purchasing Supervisor to implement best-in-class purchasing practices, thereby reducing bottom-line costs and improving cash flow. Your key tasks will include:

  • ">
  • Purchasing goods and services from various suppliers, negotiating the best possible deals;">
  • Ensuring timely delivery of purchased goods and services;">
  • Managing supplier relationships and communicating effectively with stakeholders across the organization;">
  • Contribution to departmental and global KPIs, focusing on spend under control, purchase order effectiveness, delivery performance, and savings generation;">

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • ">
  • A degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field (e.g., CIPS or NEVI qualification);">
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a purchaser or buyer, preferably in a multinational company; ">
  • Fluency in both German and English languages;">
  • Basic knowledge of QHSSE, legal, and compliance requirements;">
  • Proven ability to nurture strong, collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels.">
