Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Technology Specialist to join our team at Damen Shipyards. As a Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for the development and standardization of modular and scalable system families, variants, and options for our Workboats portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement new technologies to improve the efficiency and sustainability of our shipbuilding processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative ship systems and solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge management systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field, such as Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience in shipbuilding or a related industry.
- Strong technical knowledge and skills in systems engineering, design, and development.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
