We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Tax Accounting to join our team at SABIC - Saudi Basic Industries Corp. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of SABIC's global Chart of Account, ensuring data quality and control, and driving the development of a fully automated consolidation tool.
Key Responsibilities- Chart of Account Design and Implementation: Lead the design of SABIC's global Chart of Account in accordance with SABIC's accounting standard and policy, management reporting needs, and enable the control required for data quality.
- Automated Account Determination: Define reliable automated account determination across all non-finance functions globally, reducing costs and increasing reliability.
- Universal Ledger Management: Define and enforce a manageable universal ledger in SAP across all legal entities worldwide.
- Governance and Compliance: Establish and implement governance to maintain and enhance the Chart of Account, ensuring compliance with SABIC's accounting principles and policies.
- Consolidation and Reporting: Lead the global consolidation CoE team to deliver a fully automated consolidation tool that fits into SABIC's legal, statutory, and tax consolidation needs.
- Education: University degree in Finance/Accounting.
- Experience: 9+ years in management position, experience in managing a global team will be an added plus.
- Skills: Broad experience in finance, account, and reporting processes and systems, strong change management skills, and ability to drive performance and delivery-oriented organizational climate/culture.
