About the Role

Serco is seeking a highly skilled Service Manager to join our team in the Netherlands. As a Service Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring seamless operations, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and deployment of new services, ensuring alignment with customer needs and industry best practices.
  • Manage day-to-day service delivery, acting as the primary interface with customers and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Coordinate and prepare technical and contractual documentation for services, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Define and monitor service level agreements, KPIs, and other service parameters to measure performance.
  • Proactively address any breaches or potential breaches of agreed parameters, ensuring prompt resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Report and respond to service-related issues, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing initiatives to enhance service quality.
  • Manage the performance and engagement of service employees, ensuring regular feedback, training, and development opportunities.
  • Support business development activities, including the preparation of supporting documents for new service implementations.
Requirements
  • University degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of industry best practices and service delivery standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of the space industry, including mission, systems, and services.
  • Commercial acumen and high organizational and communication abilities, with a proven ability to work in a multinational team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in the English language.
  • People management experience and knowledge of another EU member state language is an asset.
