We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team at Serco Netherlands. As a Contract Manager, you will play a crucial role in the operational, contractual, and commercial management of our contracts, ensuring quality of service and P&L ownership.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Operational, contractual, and commercial management of contracts as the Company's representative.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders to anticipate and meet their needs.
  • Understand the overall Serco Europe Growth strategy and collaborate with European colleagues to achieve business goals.
  • Lead and support business development activities, including account management and the development of innovative products and services.
  • Support marketing activities and lead, develop, and inspire direct reports to cultivate strong, competent, and highly engaged teams.
  • Ownership of all aspects of service provision and management of contingencies and emergencies.
  • Timely production and delivery of monthly governance reports.
  • People management, including training, travel planning, performance monitoring, periodic assessment, and appraisals.
  • Quality assurance, environment, health, and safety on all contracts.
Requirements:
  • University degree or proven ability to perform tasks commensurate with such a formal academic qualification.
  • Extensive management experience preferably in the Space and/or Service industry.
  • Solid business acumen with experience of budget responsibility and business plans.
  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders to deliver positive results.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, conflict management experience, and the capacity to work in parallel on multiple tasks.
  • PC literacy, especially relevant Office 365 tools, and excellent command of English with a working knowledge of Dutch language.
  • Ability to create long-term relationships with customers and develop customer insight and intimacy.
  • At least 5 years of commercial/sales experience with customers, even outside of the Space industry.
