POSITION OVERVIEW
The Technical Solutions Engineer enhances sales by creating customer value through ensuring optimal product performance in specific applications, particularly during the pre-sales phase. This role involves identifying the most suitable product for various sites using specific methods and applications, as well as defining and refining customer-specific solutions in collaboration with clients to guarantee efficient and effective 'technical work preparations' for sold capital equipment superstructures. Key responsibilities include pre-sales activities, technical work preparation tasks, and providing technical support.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist Sales and clients in determining the most appropriate product selection and system solution for their operations (pre-sales phase); developing Trailer Win concepts, offer drawings (AutoCad), and SEBIS codes;
  • Oversee 'technical work preparations' for sold transport solutions, including designs, project documentation, and ensuring quality standards;
  • Manage an internal help desk to address inquiries from Sales, customers, product managers, and product specialists regarding technical matters;
  • Provide technical commercial assistance to the Sales team;
  • Analyze operations and products to offer informed recommendations for operational, system, or product enhancements;
  • Contribute insights to R&D engineering (across all Lines of Business) for ongoing product improvements and model upgrades;
  • Ensure the evaluation and incorporation of customer feedback;
  • Supply all necessary product information required to support sales efforts;
  • Responsible for managing various documentation materials, including construction guidelines, project files, and technical manuals;
  • Design and implement training programs for trainers, product managers, and customers (at country and dealer levels);
  • Utilize Hyva's global processes and tools for these tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or higher;
  • 1-3 years of experience in an engineering or production role;
  • Proficiency in AutoCad and SEBIS codes;
  • Familiarity with automotive, truck, and other industry standards and practices – advantageous;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
