About the Role

We are seeking an experienced corporate banker to join our Syndicated Loan Origination team as an Executive Director. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for originating and leading new deals in the syndicated loan markets, building sustainable long-term relationships with clients and prospects, and contributing to internal projects such as process optimisation and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pitching to clients and structuring, documenting, and executing transactions
  • Maintaining an excellent dialogue and relationship with banks, clients, and advisors
  • Developing and supporting the build-out and delivery of Syndicated Loan Origination in selected sectors
  • Identifying and recognising cross-sell opportunities that build on the product strengths of ABN AMRO
  • Acting as an effective 'first line of defence' in DACH and abroad
  • Coaching and developing junior colleagues

The Syndicated Loan Origination team works closely together to onboard new deals and ensure that the portfolio is sound and growing in a sustainable way. Requirements
  • At least 10 years of significant experience in the syndicated loan markets and adjacent products
  • In-depth knowledge and a proven track record in the German or DACH syndicated loan markets
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to understand and develop financial structures
  • Fluency in (business) English and German
