About the Role

We are seeking an experienced corporate banker to join our Syndicated Loan Origination team in the DACH region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for originating and leading new deals, building sustainable long-term relationships with clients and prospects, and leveraging your expertise to support our regional and sectoral growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pitching to clients and structuring, documenting, and executing transactions
  • Maintaining excellent dialogue and relationships with banks, clients, and advisors
  • Coordinating with different banks and departments, such as Loan Syndicate, Lending, and Sustainability Expertise
  • Developing and supporting the build-out and delivery of Syndicated Loan Origination in selected sectors
  • Identifying and recognizing cross-sell opportunities that build on the product strengths of ABN AMRO
  • Acting as an effective 'first line of defence' in DACH and abroad, with a thorough understanding of credit risks and credit and capital structures
About You
  • At least 10 years of significant experience in the syndicated loan markets and preferably adjacent products experience
  • In-depth knowledge and a proven track record in the German or DACH syndicated loan markets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with clients, banks, and internal and external stakeholders
  • Fluent in (business) English and German
