We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compliance Officer to join our Corporate Banking team at ABN Amro. As a key member of our Compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our business operations are in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert compliance advice and guidance to our business teams, ensuring that they are aware of and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement effective compliance risk management strategies, identifying and mitigating potential risks to the business.
- Collaborate with our business stakeholders to ensure that compliance requirements are integrated into our business processes and systems.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and reviews to ensure that our business operations are in line with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures, ensuring that they are up-to-date and effective.
- Provide training and support to our business teams on compliance matters, ensuring that they have the necessary knowledge and skills to comply with regulatory requirements.
- Represent our Compliance team in business meetings and committees, ensuring that compliance perspectives are represented.
- Master's degree in Business, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a compliance-related role, with at least 3 years in a banking sector or corporate banking business/commercial role.
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including the Wft, MiFID II, MAD/MAR, Wwft, GDPR, Sustainable Finance Regulations, and EBA guidelines.
- Experience in working with operational risk management processes, including risk assessments, controls, testing, and issue management.
- Good understanding of transaction banking and corporate lending products, with knowledge of specialized lending products such as acquisition finance, project finance, and trade finance.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
- Ability to identify and clearly explain regulatory compliance risks.
- Structured approach to work, leading to high-quality and impactful work products.
- Gross monthly salary based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
- Benefit Budget of 11% of your salary, allowing you to acquire additional employment benefits.
- Five weeks of vacation per year, with the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
- Personal development Budget of €1,000 per year, which can be accumulated up to €3,000.
